Spiritwave, the medicine cat, was in her den sorting her herbs. She was looking for a leaf that would soothe an apprentices paw. He had got a thorn stuck in his pad. She grabbed the herb once she found it and treated the apprentice quickly sending him off, back to his mentor.

Ottersplash, the deputy, was arranging a hunting patrol.

Oceanbreeze was sleeping in... She had no early morning patrols to be on.

"Sure!" Ottersplash said to Lightningcloud. "Wake up Oceanbreeze and take her too." Ottersplash suggested.

Oceanbreeze blinked open her eyes. "Wha...." She stood up and stretched her legs.

Orchidstar stood up and stretched her legs. She padded out of her den, the crisp morning air was wet with few drops. She sat down at the center of the clearing and groomed herself.

Daffodilpaw was up bright and early sorting through herbs that had gotten mixed up when some kits came running in and started playing in the Medicine Den. She sighed "silly kits..." She thought to herself.

Heatherwind was sound asleep dreaming of the wonderful taste of squirell and nectar. She twitched and continued to sleep.

Iriskit drank milk from his foster mother. He dozed off after he was done and dreamed if his parents whom he barely remembered.

"Oh ok!" Oceanbreeze meowed. She yawned and padded out of the den. "Where to first?" She asked him.

Oceanbreeze nodded in agreement. She started padding behind Lightningcloud, following him to the edge of the Sun-drown-place.

Spiritwave looked at the moss that Meadowpaw brought. "Yes, that's enough. Great job!" She complimenting her apprentice. "Go pick two apprentices to clean the Elders bedding," Spiritwave suggested.

Spiritwave watched her enthusiastic apprentice. She padded out of her den to get something to eat. She picked a squirrel from the pile and sat down to eat it.

Oceanbreeze purred. "Nice catch!" She said. She spotted a mouse nibbling on a seed near a tree root. She crouched down immediately and slowly crept toward the mouse. When she was a tail-length away, she leaped into the air and landed square on top of the mouse. With a swift bite to the neck, she killed it. She dug a quick hole and buried the mouse for later. She trotted back to Lightningcloud. "Let's keep moving," she said panting.

Yea my cat can be a brave.
